Camp Details

When schools close for the summer, White Crane opens its doors for our exciting Karate Summer Camps!  If your son or daughter have wanted to try karate and the Martial Arts, then this is the perfect opportunity for them to train safely and traditionally.

At White Crane we offer three, 1-week sessions, of fun-filled summer camps in July and August for children between the ages of 6-12 years old.  Camp is all day, Monday - Friday, from 9 am - 12 pm.  Renshi Butler and our Advanced Students work with children in small and large group settings to help them improve both as an individual and as a student.

Session 1:     July 17 - 21, 2017
Session 2:     Aug. 7 - 11, 2017
Session 3:     Aug. 21 - 25, 2017

Students will be lead through a fun-filled martial arts program that will safely introduce new students to the martial arts and also polish and expand the skills of those with previous experience. Activities cover all the important areas of training, including:

  • Karate (kicking, punching, blocking, & throwing)
  • Japanese JuJutsu (wrestling & ground work)
  • Self protection / anti-bullying techniques
  • History & philosophy of the Martial Arts

    as well as....

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Swimming / Field Trips
  • Emphasis on when it's appropriate to use martial arts is taught throughout all lessons. The training is meant for self protection uses only, and even then, only when absolutely necessary. It is meant to be a way of life, a code on how we should live. It teaches us to be kind, humble, and compassionate. This is the difference between traditional and sport karate.

A Karate uniform (Gi (pronounced "ghee")) and a belt is available from the instructor for $30.

Certificates of completion will be awarded on the last day of camp.

There is a 15 minute demonstration for the campers AND parents at the end of the last day of camp.

Sibling discounts apply, as well as discounted pricing for multiple week registrations -- please inquire within.
